Nashville Dads: You Are Welcome Here

Posted on 13. Feb, 2008 by Brian Reid in General

Hey — for those Nashville dads who are stung (or elated) to be blackballed from playgroups hosted by the by the sadly confused Lindsay Ferrier, there is a place in Nash Vegas where you will fit right in — a weekly dad’s playgroup. For details, see the rebeldad.com playgroup map or e-mail Chris at ccsr mac com. (Thanks to Rick for sending along the info.)

Have you seen Ferrier’s latest in Nasvhille Scene?

At first laughing off the dads who criticized her “humor” column, and in the end trashing athomedad.org and every sahd who is a member.

I don’t know why I care. Maybe I’m just bored tonight.

Thanks for flagging. We care because a) she’s wrong and b) it’s offensive and c) people like her make it harder to be a parent.

Thanks for posting regarding the Nashville play group. I was hoping something positive would come out of the nonsense that this silly lady has created. I’m a Nashville SAHD, and this one hit a little close to home.

“Any publicity is good publicity.” We just finished throwing up a quick/free OfficeLive website at our new domain. Hopefully Lindsay’s article will help us grow the Middle Tennessee Stay at Home Dad’s group.
