More Blogs (and Media!)

Thanks to those who are continuing to send me blogs. I’ll keep adding them. Among the new additions are:

And, in the department of media-that-want-to-talk-to-*you*, this landed in my inbox:

I’m writing an article for Working Mother magazine about the way that the recession has caused a role reversal in many families. Because the recession has disproportionately hit male-dominated fields, many fathers are now at home raising children and looking for work, while their wives become the primary breadwinners for the first time. I would like to interview fathers and mothers (aged 22 to 44 or so) who are in this situation. What are the challenges? What are the benefits? How do you work through conflicts? Please email me at saraeckel@gmail.com.

I don’t fit the bill, but if you do, please flag yourself to Sara …

I’m very confused why the media thinks the only interesting stay-at-home dads/breadwinning moms are the ones hit hard by the recession?

    Hi Brian,

I like the “rebel dad” moniker. I found you on Google, as you rank #1 for “stay at home dad blog”. I saw you were looking for stats on the number of stay at home dads. If it’s any indication, I can provide you the numbers on Facebook, where we’ve been doing some research on the trends between SAHD and SAHM- would you like a guest blog post about it?

My best friend, Keith, is a stay at home dad, and I help Keith with the website at almightydad.com. I’m sure he’d appreciate being added to your blogroll!

Please take a look at FathersJourney.com to see if it fits the bill. I’m a work-at-home dad with a blog dedicated to fatherhood.
