Big Apple (And Garden State) Dads

As so often happens, a media type has reached out to me to see if I know of any New York/New Jersey at-home dad groups. I *do* have a handful up on the badly-in-need-of-update maps page, but none of them look very vibrant (if they are alive at all). My buddy started this group that is the only “vibrant” one that I know of in the NYC area:

A producer joined our group today and asked dads to email her associate producer at the following at at the following address:

I debated whether I should fill her in on the current thoughts regarding the “Mr.Mom” label.

“Brilliant, name it after a mediocre 80′s movie!”
“I’m sure we’ll get a ton of dads who want to go on tv and drink beer and play poker all day….and burn holes in shirts…and put dishsoap in the clothes washer…it will be hilarious”
